ProVideoPlayer for live sports.
The largest events and venues require a more complex and robust approach to media management, usually run by media servers. That’s where ProVideoPlayer comes into the picture: it’s a robust software solution that is used in place of hardware media servers.
Today’s pro and minor league stadiums are full of displays of all shapes and sizes that need various live sports streams and forms of content. For events with too many displays to count, you need a powerful solution that can drive content to each one.
ProVideoPlayer is used for large-scale sporting events to drive high volumes of displays in sync with one another. No matter where fans roam, they get pro-grade, synced video on the displays near them. A recent installation we helped with used PVP to power 28 video I/O connections.
ProVideoPlayer supports the following features and functions, among others:
- Picture-in-picture.
- Differing screen sizes, resolutions, and combinations.
- Unusual screen configurations (such as complex LED configurations, jumbotrons, video walls, and LED strips running around the stadium).
- DMX, SMPTE and REST API control.
- Pro-grade cues and actions, including pixel perfect masks and powerful blend modes.
