If you weren’t already live streaming your services before the pandemic, chances are, you started doing so at some point in 2020. Even if your “live stream” consisted of a pastor speaking on an iPhone on a tripod, that still counts!

Presentation software has come a long way since the early days of overhead projectors or PowerPoint just a few decades ago. The best modern solutions for the church incorporate rich media, including heavy video components. They also support dynamic content, live streaming, multiple simultaneous video inputs, and more. But most of all: they remain simple and volunteer-friendly enough that anyone can use them.

A question we see asked online pretty often is, “Should our ProPresenter Operator be in our tech booth at front of house (FOH) or in our broadcast room?” I think this question can actually be a tough one to answer. But if we really break down the question, maybe it should be, “How many ProPresenter operators do I need?”
